Two completely different style of games. Pirates! is pretty much what would pass for a phone/tablet game now, but I spent way too many hours playing it.

Sid Meier created some of my favorite early on simulation games like Gunship, Red Storm Rising, before getting into Civilization and Alpha Centauri, both of which I never played.

That's the same arrangement I use with my three 25" Dell U2518D monitors and about all I can fit on my desk.

What sort of graphics card(s) would be needed to feed three 50" monitors at a decent resolution (assuming 4K) and refresh rate, at least 60 fps?

Yea, if I do something like that it will be a dedicated space.

Size of the monitors shouldn't matter, the signal is the same. It takes just as much GPU do to a 10" 4K monitor as it would a 90" 4K monitor.

You'll need a card benchmarked for 11,520 x 2160. Th GeForce GTX 1080 and up can do that, although not sure what the performance is. You could also go 4K in the middle and 1080 on the sides.

That is primarily why I'm waiting to see what they do with VR.

I'm downloading it now.
I get a bit of a F.E.A.R. vibe from the clips I've seen.

It's a little bit of F.E.A.R. with a splash of the first Metro thrown in. I've never owned a console but the game design makes me think console.
After 90 minutes I'm feeling a little indifferent about it. We'll see.

Wasteland3 went live yesterday. Love the series, but not sure I will drop the $ on it until it gets cheaper.
