Renault won't be any better, but if he can shine against Alonso (presuming Nando doesn't rage quit before '22) he might be able to snag a decent midfield ride or as a backup at Ferrari. Or maybe Renault comes good again, Enstone seems to hit on success about once a decade, they're due some success soon.

Although it is too late now, I still wish Mick Schumacher was racing for Ferrari and not a sister team. That would be something to watch as we could gage Mick's rate of improvement against the 3rd best driver in F1. Louis, Max, and Charles 1, 2, 3 IMO.

4 more key seats in our speculations get confirmed.
Alfa Romeo to keep Raikkonen and Giovinazzi Williams will retain both drivers as well! |

He's backup for if Sainz/Leclerc can't race or if one of them goes nuclear and bails on their contract before the end of '21, after that hopefully one of their current F2 drivers should be ready to fill that role with some F1 experience at Haas, might as well keep Gio in shape at Alfa until then. Basically confirms Mick to Haas imho.

The Venue this weekend : Emirates Gran Premio Dell'emilia Romagna 2020 can be sadly remembered for :
Ayrton Senna da Silva died aged 34 after succumbing to fatal injuries sustained during his race at the San Marino Grand Prix, (Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari ) on 1 May 1994. Now called Emilia Romagna Grand Prix Had to dig deeply in my pile of history to pull out this one and scan it just for you F1 fans: Pic: Ayrton in his first F1 ride a Toleman (June 1984) At Montréal circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Judging by the empty stands this was Fridays practice… On Kodak TriX pushed 800 asa with a 300MM 4.5F Back then there were no high fences to scrap my photos… Times have changed. Taken at the start of what is now called the Senna Curve. He managed to finish seventh in that race.If the picture is shaky or out of focus I blame the beer... And a sticky reminder on my dash that Im not the best driver around... |

Bellisimo! Two Dan’s did well . Ricc getting to use his Drinking slippers with the F1 Champagne connoisseur or is that Championship leader. Renault in 3rd place for Constructors, who would have thought. Funny talk from HAM in the beginning, having a hard time to follow… Max gets out of the car & Kicks the rear tire to see if it is really dead LOL.. Podiums or nothing for Max this year… Both Alfa’s in the points… Kimi voted Best driver. Lance making up 2 positions from his start by NOT doing a DNF and by hitting something soft … Albon spins out due to a passing draft… Ferrari are still learning how to change wheels efficiently. Seb’s helmet must have been steaming up while they figured how to get a wheel off.(stripped lug) Merc are WC with 4 races to go. 7th one in a row! May try out this Antonio Giovinazzi recipe: “You need pasta, tomato sauce, some HAM and then you need to cook the pasta for half of the time it says you need to – so if it says 10 minutes, you cook it for five! cook everything, you put a lot of mozzarella on top to make everything better! Then turn the oven up to 180 degrees (Celsius) for about 25 minutes.” Must be why they kept him. HAM Says he’s not sure to be around next year? |

Everyone on social media seems to forget what a crapshoot qualifying is in changing conditions and that qualifying pace does not equal race pace.
