Yea it doesn't seem possible without removing the subframe. What bushings did you end up going with?

How many miles on your car?

Have you compared it to another 2013 FRS, for perceived driveline slop?

Nice, I was leaning towards solid bushings as well.

34k kms, I've driven others, it's the normal amount of driveline slop. I'm just used to poly mounts on my old car. Wanted a similar feeling in the FRS.

You pick up a lot more NVH from them. My car is still street driven and sees some track time. I think for my taste is a bit overkill. As @humfrz mentioned about drivetrain slop. You may try stiffer trans bushings and some STI motor mounts first. They really take out the drivetrain slop and are an easier install. The biggest thing I noticed with the subframe bushings is a more solid feel and more of a communicative feel from the rear of the car while driving it hard.

I'll look into those options too, I think my car already has an insert for the trans bushing from the previous owner.
