Front suspension or steering rack noise?
I’ve read a post about the steering rack coming loose but no videos or other info can someone help me out. I can’t figure out what is making this noise.

I'm thinking it's the end links, or link arms (same thing). that's probably rubbing against the body or are just creaking.

Do you have any pictures of the bad steering rack? I'm at 170k miles and have replaced the outer tie rods, but still have a weird clunking noise. Only happens at low speeds which I'm thinking was a symptom of yours as well.

Front suspension or steering rack noise?
Quote:
Don’t rule out the EPS coupler. It creates a rattle/clunking at low speeds. Road reflectors at 10mph for example. I have a DIY thread on fixing this issue for ~$10. This issue seems more common in Russia, Philippines, MENA, etc where crappy roads are more common. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133606 |

Well, you can still check it. It's just a b#tch to loosen and lower.

Had the same issue. Also on bad condition roads there was a similar noise to suspension issues.
New steering rack and alignment fixed it |
