Talking Kraftwerks Kit, Moto-East Tune, R comps and Coilover ..wow. what a track machine

Special thanks @KraftWerks and
@moto-mike car is phenomenal at track, I can keep up with GT3s a lot easier with additional power and coilovers also make a big difference.. hopefully next time I will fix my ABS sensor ( no ABS/EBD or Traction control at the moment) and will get better lap times , I am pretty sure I leave at least 4-5 seconds on the table and maybe even more

I think I couldn't burp the radiator since my coolant temps were a bit higher than last time (with KoyoRadiator) which ultimately affects the Oil temps since I still use OEM oil cooler ..However, even with the SC I saw the same oil temps with when I was NA and with higher ambient temps

[ame="http://youtu.be/Fa1UWvB-Lrg"]http://youtu.be/Fa1UWvB-Lrg[/ame]

I will burp the coolant system and provide more data next time

That track looks really exciting! The last few corners before the final straight are a mini cork screw!

Looks like a ton of fun - seems like the KW unit is a great fit for the car. Do you have any idea of how much power you have at the wheels? I've been debating a JRSC since i mostly do DE's with the car.

yes, it's one of my favorite tracks and I find it a very technical and fun, and many locals call it "cork screw" as you can guess

I've actually just answered that question in another thread

I didn't get a chance to dyno after the install and tune but I will post dyno graphs as soon as I get a chance.. since many people see similar gains with 2.5" exhaust, 92 octane and KW kit, I am guessing it should be around 260-270 to the wheels..
Many people see similar gains with similar mods since supercharger kits are more consistent to make power as opposed to turbo kits as I understand. One of the biggest reasons I picked KW over JRSC is because if something happens to your SC or anything in the system you can still drive back home from the track and ability to upgrade the system down the road ( if you ever need it) with that said I am very happy with the power and I am currently not interested to get a lot more power out of this car, well..at least for the track use, for street or drag racing more is always fun.. take a look at my signature and you'll notice that I am kinda done with the numbers game (at least for a while, I think, maybe..lol)

Wow man. Really impressed with the handling, you had no over steer nor understeer. It gripped really nice.

Man, watching this video.... This is how I want my FR-S to be. Man, you are a great driver and your car has outstanding grip. I can't believe how you caught up to that Porsche so fast. This is the kit I've been eyeballing too.

Agreed, as you suggested, now I addressed the power and handling issues I can solely focus on improving my times.. in stock power levels car felt a little underpowered this car needs S2K engine IMO

BTW, power difference between Vortech and KW/JRSC kit is about 10-15 hp correct? IIRC, Mike from MotoEast was able to squueze ~280+ whp so I think it all depends on the supporting mods..

Another thing to mention, tires have a lot of grip and without a doubt the best tires I have ever owned in my entire life I'd definitely recommend to anyone who is in the market for new set of rubbers

For the car's budget underpinning's its remarkable how well it responds to the additional power and suitable tire and suspension changes.
My dyno on the Vortech was around 220WHP on my Perrin tune (dynojet) and I always shift at 7000RPM on the track so I am not getting all the power. So there is a large power difference.

How are the JRSC and Kraftwerks people shifting? Are you revving out past 7k?

I've taken it to redline a few times and you really don't need to. Mostly 7k like you. 220 is all? I wouldn't be surprised if I was pushing 265+whp with my full exhaust and 93 tune.

I've driven a 300whp vortech on E85 and my car feels close to that on pump gas. It's the only reason why I haven't been feeding her E85 on my flex fuel setup.

What AFR do you hit at WOT?

Yeah it seems most people are pushing the 250-265 Range on most SC kits now.

At 11.2 to 11.8 in the 6000-7200RPM Range on the wideband on the dyno.
I think the Perrin tune is very conservative. It's almost impossible to compare dyno results though from one car to another. I don't put a ton of weight on it.

BTW this is an excellent video, and great track thanks for posting it up, nice to see more people on SC, regardless of brand pushing it on track and not just street trolling.
