I really like the look of the STI fender vent. It has a bit of a Corvette vibe to it.
Came here to say this. Yes, it's totally the same style of the 911 GT3, which is claimed to allow for better flow. I think it's an awesome piece, though as others have noted, will likely cost a fortune.

Not so sure. You could have too much downforce on the back. Than you need to improve downforce on the front.

They could use Akebonos to bring a little bit of JDMness to the performance.

so many tech tidbits from the video. lets see:
1. full undertray! yay! metallic undertray for the engine area? doesnt look plastic.
2. radar under headlights and tail-lights! lightening potentials!
3. same brakes as current gen BRZ 86?
4. STI wheels look like BBS RI-A (https://bbs-japan.co.jp/en/products/1135/) with STIperformance stickers?
5. pre-filter intake tube looks small like current gen brz 86 zzzzzzzz...
6. finally a good long shot of the torque hp curve on the dash TFT.

anything i missed?

STI is not what it used to be

STI is not building anymore the cars they used to build. I was looking lately a vid of a Chinese guy having a 22B, a Spec C RA-R and a S208. Latest cars not only lost their original soul and purpose, but it seems that they are evolving to a wrong direction. If they really wanted to get back to their roots and build an actual BRZ STI car, they would have to start from the bare-bones model and improve from there.

I'm sure it will make a huge difference when the BRZ is roaring around the track at 197 MPH like the Porsche.

And it would have to be a rally car inspired design. Seeing as it is a RWD coupe, it isn't.

I am sorry you dislike the direction STI is taking. Surely they will miss your business when you are replacing your current vehicle. Perhaps some constructive input from you would be interesting if you care to elaborate further. Also, please keep in mind the WRX STI was discontinued all over Europe since North America and Japan are their target markets. Things evolve as such for different reasons. For me, the model is an affordable well performing car that is also useful. My alternatives from European manufacturers are much more expensive. Nothing close from Lexus or Infiniti or Acura.
The new Acura TLX is probably a great car but I like Subaru and their more down to earth style. Plus I have my FR-S in the garage and will keep it as long as it's got a place to park so I know I'll continue dealing with Subaru longterm.
