Lmfao. Using drift cars in response to talking about autox standings is hilarious. Go do one, chump.

You still running them slim?

people like you are the reason Philly gets a bad rap

drifting is not racing, it is a competition emphasizing control and style, lap times are tertiary concerns.

also while the top drifters are indeed "slammed", there are many more modifications that are done to the suspension linkages, control arms, steering rods, etc so that the car actually retains good balance and control

It was funny when reading Mike Kojima's ultimate suspension and handling guide stories to see few mentions for top drifters driving very slammed cars .. that lately many of them had lifted back some, for suspension to start working and have greater control of car despite their past beliefs. So what will happen now - maybe fanboys will do crazy slamming less?

Run? So you challenge him to a drag race to prove you know more about drifting? I miss when this thread was about awesome coilovers from my hometown.

Pointless debate is pointless. Go challenge each other to a duel LIKE MEN!

Anyway...If you haven't already seen, Parts Shop MAX has been posting up pics/vids of a bag conversion for their coilovers recently on Instagram/FB. And abusing tires with their ~600hp LS swap! That thing sounds like such a beast now! A far cry from when Dan spun me around a cul de sac the day he put the first production coilovers on (when they were still at the old shop). He says it's even more comfortable to ride in now and handles just as well, if not better.

It's nice to see them continue to pump out new items for this platform. Not bad for a tiny lil shop in Escondido.

Just saw the bag setup thanks for posting it here. Since I don't have fb or Instagram I don't get many updates. Any info on pricing?

Comparing drifting to racing is like comparing figure skating to ice hockey.

A slammed drift car contributes to its performance the same way the cute outfits help figure skaters. They don't make them function any better, but it helps with the purely subjective judging.
