I like how the commercial focus is on how its a really good looking car, that's really fun to drive! "Plenty of power"? Don't know about that, but guess they shouldn't say "Ok power, but needs more torque" lol.

Yeah, because that's not what this car is about, right? God forbid a car that is this lightweight and handles this amazingly actually be able to outrun a minivan. We wouldn't want to have our cake and eat it too.

My car can easily outrun a minivan lol. You don't need tons of power to have fun. Ever driven an original mini cooper? Or how about an actually AE86? Aw11? My first car was 300zx twin turbo which had 300hp and sure it was a blast but it never could put the same smile on my face the way the ae86 did.

When people say, "It is fast?", I say, "It'll do 140." That is theoretically true and it usually keeps them happy. It seems as if some 86 owners actually have managed to obtain this speed on the Autobahn or an abandoned airport runway.

What they probably mean to ask is: "Is it quick?" The answer would then be, "Not that quick." A drag racer it ain't but I didn't buy it for that purpose.

from what I can tell, it was supposed to convey how much fun the FR-S is. But it came off forced, like, 90's infomercial forced.

I think this is a case of "Show, don't tell" Show someone actually driving the car for the enjoyment factor. You don't have to tell us anything. The twins are fun cars, show the masses just how fun.
