At least you got them to show up. We have 3 positions for a call center (Operator/Security Dispatcher). So far half the folks that scheduled an interview have ghosted us, two have taken the job and not showed up for Day 1 with no call and one quit at the beginning of her second day because she didn’t think we would really assign her to third shift, even though we made it very clear and her job offer said 3rd shift.

I’d say about 40% show up for interviews. 50% actually show up for their first day in the last year for us.

I've considered getting a fun license plate for the FRS and then I ask myself if I really want something memorable on the exterior of my car... I mean other than the red paint that is.

Random question: Anyone ever have a JetSki/SeaDoo/etc? What is the annoyance/maintenance to fun ratio?
There is a boat launch down the road and I am wondering if the complete lack of good driving roads near me can be offset by watercraft of some sort. Personally, I like sailing but there are less good sailing days than good jet ski or boat days. |

It gets boring kinda quick to me. Maint isn’t terrible but it’s twice a year(summarization/winterization) and it’s a bit labor intensive since there is no fluid drains if it’s a 4stroke. So everything gets sucked out the top. Otherwise plugs every year, keep a battery tender on it in the off season, fuel dry, ect.

It's a sport bike/motorcycle for the water. The question you should be asking is "do I want a motorcycle that I can only take to a specific parking lot to ride around on, and then take back home?" I've always preferred boating myself with family members, then we take turns skiing and tubing... A little more involved than just burning gas on the water
