Save your money, no one cares what your plate says, or what it might mean.

I’d say about 40% show up for interviews. 50% actually show up for their first day in the last year for us.

I did once. A "gift".

Voluntarily paying more car registration tax, or any tax, is not the smartest in my book. And again, no one cares what is says.

I've considered getting a fun license plate for the FRS and then I ask myself if I really want something memorable on the exterior of my car... I mean other than the red paint that is.

Random question: Anyone ever have a JetSki/SeaDoo/etc? What is the annoyance/maintenance to fun ratio?

There is a boat launch down the road and I am wondering if the complete lack of good driving roads near me can be offset by watercraft of some sort. Personally, I like sailing but there are less good sailing days than good jet ski or boat days.

It gets boring kinda quick to me. Maint isn’t terrible but it’s twice a year(summarization/winterization) and it’s a bit labor intensive since there is no fluid drains if it’s a 4stroke. So everything gets sucked out the top. Otherwise plugs every year, keep a battery tender on it in the off season, fuel dry, ect.

My boss had one before he got married. They're needy like a hot tub. Number of stories of the impeller sucking up a diaper, and then spending 20-30 minutes digging it out. His also grew a 3" diameter hole in the hull from aggressive wave jumping that wasn't discovered until he was in the middle of a lake one time...

It's a sport bike/motorcycle for the water.

The question you should be asking is "do I want a motorcycle that I can only take to a specific parking lot to ride around on, and then take back home?"

I've always preferred boating myself with family members, then we take turns skiing and tubing... A little more involved than just burning gas on the water
