2023 Toyota Pricing Document - Includes Manual and A91-MT Pricing

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/202...pricing.14231/

Quote:
Browsing the Toyota Pressroom site and saw this PDF document (located on the right sidebar) on the 2023 Toyota GR Supra page which not only confirms that the manual will be priced at the exact same, but the A91-MT being priced at not much more than the premium. I haven't seen anything officially released for 2023 pricing or posted here yet, but it's conveniently located on the Toyota website so maybe everyone already knew. Thoughts?

Click above or see below:

2370 2023 GR Supra 2.0 I4 $43,540
2372 2023 GR Supra 3.0 Base I6 $52,500
2374 2023 GR Supra 3.0 Premium I6 $55,650
2383 2023 GR Supra 3.0 Base MT $52,500
2385 2023 GR Supra 3.0 Premium MT $55,650
2387 2023 GR Supra 3.0 A91-MT $58,345

I wonder if the 2023 Canadian model is just more equipped than the US....cuz theres only 3 models...and only the 3.0 MT has an additional package that can be added.

From the Toyota.ca Supra build & price section:

-Supra 2.0 = $57,170
-Supra 3.0 = $68,640
-Supra 3.0 MT = $68,640
-Supra 3.0 MT + Premium Package (This seems like the A91 MT package)= $70,270

Good on Toyota to not charge extra for the manual.

I remember a time when manuals were always cheaper than automatics (although some manufacturer's still do that today). I'm still waiting for the first car that offers a manual as a costly option, though (or might be already someone did that?)...

Oh I'm fully aware of that. I wasn't really expecting Toyota to charge more for the manual, but it wouldn't have surprised me in the least if it was only available with a high level trim package. I don't even need to cite instances of that happening, it's rampant these days

Mazda 3. Might be the 2020 or 2019 one. If you wanted the manual one, there was no base model option, or any lower trim, it was outright the highest trim. Hence making it an expensive option to get a manual one. Oh, and you can't get a 2.5 AWD. Only 2.0 and FWD.

And didn't VW offer manuals as an added cost option?

AFAIK, no. At least not on Mk7 GTI's (what I have).

Acura is prob one of the worst now. Integra with manual is about $6000 more than the base trim...

Must have been another brand then. Could have sworn someone was charging more for the manual versions (without forcing a higher trim model).

Well there's Porsche. I believe currently on the 911 that the manual is a "no cost" option. But what's important to note here is that the manual was previously standard and the PDK transmission was a $3000-4000 option. They've basically made the PDK standard (with raised MSRP) so offering the manual as a no cost option means you're basically paying $3000-4000 for the privilege.

Would love to nab a 2023 but can’t justify a strictly 2 seater. At least with the twins I can throw the kids in back.

And that's why I'm considering the Civic type r as daily and FRS as a "weekend warrior".
