Would you buy ft-86 if it cost $28k?

As I believe it will cost that much if not more; in order for them to make it everything that we want it to be.

if Honda can load up a Civic Si for under $25K, i see no reason why Toyota can't.

Depends on the final specs and what it's equipped with for 28K. If it's a turbo, nicely equipped and a Toyota, then it's a bargin for under 30K.

25k was the highest i was willing to go, If this would be top trim with a bunch of gadgets id rather take an ft86 in base trim.

Either the car will be priced lower and be neutered or it will be at least $28k.

For $28k it would have to include:
-2.0L D-4S w/Turbo
-RWD
-Curb weight under 2700 lbs
-Modern Suspension (IE: Multilink rear suspension and Double Wishbone front suspension)
-LSD w/6 speed transmission that doesn't suck (every 6 speed Toyota I have driven sucked balls)

For a 280hp+ Turbo, under 2800lbs, looking like the concept and driving like they promise?

Hell yes.

I would, but I'd likely be forced into the market for a less expensive car. I don't know if I'd be able to afford that yet in another year.

By the way, if they want this car to sell, it wont start at 28k. Not even close. Also, if it is everything that everyone wants, it will end up being shit.

All they need to do is stick to the original plan. Economical to obtain and own, lightweight (with power to weight around 12lbs/hp), fun to drive. Look like the concept and it's golden. Anything after that is gravy (including a turbo model for the kind of price you suggest).
