Stance - Too tall
Wheels - too big for car. Do not like design
TRD graphics on side of car - yuck.

I am glad Toyota is making a TRD model but I like the previous ones better. What I really would like to see is this:

Best part of this news...

We can finally put the “is there going to be a MY 2019” debate to bed!

Why not TRD springs? Body kit and stock ride height just looks silly.

It almost looks like the car is lifted in those pics, not even stock ride height. Must just be an illusion from the wheel/tire sizes though.

I've always liked the Gazoo. Even the wing does not suck.

Ahh ok. Weird. Always thought they were nice, and made the interior look a little more sporty.

That's the best aftermarket bumper I've seen for the 86!

So Mazda reengineered the Miata's engine with lighter internals ect. to give a very nice boost.

All we get is more add ons from the TRD catalog

Pretty much the same as EVERY other "special edition" that Subaru and Toyota have rolled out.

I'm not part of the "need more power" crowd, but if they're going to roll this stuff out, they should address the main complaint (even a 10hp bump would be nice). I'm seeing this as a cynical business case to spark more sales by providing the appearance of change (probably doesn't make sense at this point of the model cycle).
