I think i screwed myself!!!!
So was on my way home tonight passing the toyota dealership some bright red car caught my eye. Had to do a double take and sure enough it was a FR-S, so I pulled into the lot just to look because i had never seen one up close and personal. As i was walking around the car a sales man walked up and I asked "Is this one spoken for?" he said "As of this morning it was, but the young lady could not get approved." so we started talking and he offered me a test drive and i was like hell yea lets go.... (he was already dangling the key infront of me.) First impressions holy crap this thing really does sit low, seat feel like they were custom tailored for me. Got it out on the road and I just fell in love the car just felt so grounded(not use to that feeling coming from a 09 focus ses coupe) we got back in the the lot and the sales man asked whats it going to take for me to put you in this car tonight.. and I said "unless you can magically turn this car from red to asphalt and the automatic to a 6spd then im sold but unless that were to happed i couldn't take this car home. So now im in love and wait patienly wait for a asphalt to show up for the right price.

Congratulations. Just wait until you find that one you've been waiting for and grin the entire drive home. =P

I couldn't hold out for Asphalt. I now own a Firestorm FR-S and love it too.
Unfortunately I can't tell if its the car or the color but I've gotten more police attention in the last 48 hours than I got in 6 years with my Solar Yellow Wrangler. Jeep=cop camo... I was driving home from a relative's house last night and took a very round about route home due to wanting to drive and get the break in over with. I found myself on the Berlin Turnpike in CT where a lot of kids with their cars hang out and try to race. I was traveling at the speed limit on the nose with a small group of every day cars when we crested a hill and saw a sea of flashing lights. It was a DUI checkpoint. We were funneled into one lane and I was the only one that was asked to pull off to the side to have a chat. I said I was headed home and the cop pointed out that I was headed in the wrong direction for that. I told him I was going yo just turn around up ahead and make my way home. At that moment I decided I'd had enough driving for the day anyway...and it was pretty late. He asked for license ans reg. Was confused when I handed him the insurance document from the dealer (still got dealer plates on). Went to his car to run my name came back and told me to have a good night. I couldn't take the FireStorm 1.being an automatic (much rather have a 6spd) and 2. Red just attracts to much attention. I'll just play the waiting game. And surprisingly the car was going for $25k

But most of that attention is from myself But like some others I was after another color, then seeing them next to red, the firestorm took my heart. Automatic hm, hope the 6mt comes in soon!
