you are the one trying to prove this, just get a stock one and run the exact same test. hell grab a fluiddamper too since that one is heavier and they claim more hp too. No one is going to have your exact car setup, so your data is only useful to you.

My offer to calculate gains/losses from inertia still applies. Just need stock and your choice of aftermarket diameters and weights.

@Tcoat The calibration records of my foot?
If you check the posted Ecutek logs there isn't any change in the "Accelerator Angle (%)" value. It is always 100%. I started pressing the gas pedal from a smaller speed. Your arguments are even more laughable and the same test is very easily reproducable. It is a plain 2nd gear pull. So, waiting for results ... |

Ok guys.
It looks that no one will post a result for comparison. So, I used the log file as an input to the Virtual Dyno app. I changed the tire diameter to my value, the fd ratio to a 3.727 value and changed the car weight to what you have normally in US (std weight of Limited MT model). Here is the output with an additional 80kg driver and the standard smoothing factor: Anyone can cross-check the results with the attached Ecutek log file of my first post. Result is 194 whp |

the day you do a real dyno and prove to us your car put dkwn 194 hp at the wheel i guess i ll get down on my knees and excuse me to you for when i doubted
anyway, assuming i m ignorant, why does thes weight matter in a power calculation? your car could weight 3 tons, it doesnt change the torque that reaches the whell or you want to say that this power...is a "perceived" one? but well i have no idea how this virtuak dyno works |

The way virtual dyno works is by calculating acceleration based on RPM per time data. It needs to include the gear ratios and final drive information, the tire diameter, the drag coefficient and the frontal area information. The last two are already known for BRZ and are included in the setup files. The car weight is needed to calculate the whp value. The result is after using a DynoJet correction factor. It is known to be pretty accurate. In general, it is not real whp for my car. It is like saying, you would need 194 whp on a 2798 lbs car with same gearing to achieve the same acceleration figures. ok.
but in a logic way, you really are convinced your Cosworth canned Stage1 car with 2 cats and stock header, can do 194 whp, when not even proper tuned E85 cars do it? just for info |
