Perrin intake with/without inlet hose

I didn't know how to search for this so I'm asking:

Perrin cold air intake claims about the same gains as the Grimmspeed and about everyone else's... additionally they claim their inlet hose increases power. So the question is : Does the Perrin CAI+ inlet hose offer better gains to the other CAI on the market that replace the inlet hose as part of the intake package?

The Perrin intake costs about the same as other intakes BUT the inlet hose is an additional 130$ish making it significantly more expensive.

Note I am well aware of the cost effectiveness of a panel filter, I have one now. However my intake was broken when my car was hit so I'm looking at options to upgrade while insurance is paying for it.

The factory one is a cold air intake. The aftermarket stuff adds induction noise. The drop in filter + inlet hose is a hard to beat combo
