Question Exhaust with Open Waste Gate

Hello Y'all,

So my current setup is:

JDL UEL GTX 2860R Turbo w/ Open Waste Gate
Motiv Overpipe
HKS Dual Resonated Frontpipe
Borla Catback (Model # 140496)

I 'm wondering why my car sounds like it's bottlenecking, and doesn't sound nearly as mean as other 86s. I used to have a Jackson Racing c30 supercharger with the same exhaust setup, and it was way better sounding.

Not sure if I need to change my Borla Catback to a muffler delete axle back for louder sound + more hp which is my goal at the moment.

Any recommendations? Should I go recirculated or change up anything in my exhaust setup?

turbo is more restricted exhast side than a supercharger so you ll have to free the exhaust and increase diameters for bigger meaner sounding

Probably change the catback or check for exhaust leaks if there is any.

You're blocking exhaust with a turbo, turbos always quiet down exhausts.

How do you know it's bottlenecked from an HP perspective? Have you dyno'd?
