Just loaded E85 stage 2 EL tune on my stock 2015. So far, so good!

What I'm wondering if there is a procedure to do throttle calibration on these cars? For example, VW/Audis have throttle body alignment feature available in VAG-COM. It's super annoying waiting till the pedal becomes responsive in these cars after a flash or ECU reset.

Can running an e85 fuel cleaner help reduce General wear?

I am debating using e85 in the future, power would be awesome just don't want to break the car. I was thinking something like this

I haven't seen any independent studies indicating these actually do anything. Shouldn't be needed in any case, we've got lots of people running E85 here without issue.

Just to instil some confidence in this fuel, here is my port injector after 4000km on full time eflex and 10000km garbage 98 before that..

It's absolutely squeaky clean both inside and out, the camera exaggerates the dirt alittle and what you see on it is just pcv residue which was left also in the rest of the manifold which I cleaned out. Ethanol is awesome.

I think the Gready intaker is a Takeda clone

It would be better if you scaled your maf on petrol tune then transfered that scaling to the E85 tune you can do the scaling yourself if you want

see here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64790

their is also a baseline Takeda maf scaling attached

shiv could do you a customised e-tune for $200 that would be heaps cheaper than dyno

Dyno tunes will always be better than an e-tune, as the tuner is right their at the dyno and can make changes on the fly and see the results instantly and do the runs he/she wants at specific loads ect dialed up on the dyno.

However if you have a good base tune that was dialed in on dyno and it just a clean up and intake scaling required it probably not worth the expense of a full dyno tune.

you might also be hard pushed to find a tuner that works with opensource tunes like openflash as they generally want to lock their tunes.

I understand that we are able to run e85 with OFT tune. If I wanted to have a Zeitronix ECA2 to view e% on a gauge, would I need to buy flex fuel lines to connect to the FF sensor? If so, am I better off just going with a plug n play FF kit?

Yes you would need to buy the whole kit.

oft tunes dont yet have the software required to read the e% from the sensor and adapt the tune, your going to need ecutek flex fuel tunetune and licience and flex fuel kit for a full flex fuel setup that arround $750 or so usa from memory.
