Wait, are these aftermarket or do the 15's come with Sachs dampers from the factory?

Sachs dampers are factory MY15 equipment. The spring rates and perhaps bar rates are possibly different from the MY13/14's as well.

On the topic of Sachs...

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9GnXtGBPYc"]Toyota GT with Sachs Performance coilover suspension from ZF - YouTube[/ame]

Video contains the usual suspension company jargon with no real "new" information related to the 86, but at least we can finally see what these things look like.

I am putting on my cynic's hat here.
I am suggesting that these won't be the dampers that turn up as oem. Most people wouldn't know what to do with them. It would create more trouble than what they are worth. It would introduce an additional manufacturing cost for not much in the way of increased sales.

I am guessing that this is a video for their aftermarket dampers.

This is conjecture on my part.

yeah, i dont think anyone is saying those will be oem. theres plenty of info and pics out there already about the oem sachs dampers. look almost identical to the showa ones.
Toyota will retro fit them over here for about 1000 bucks i think.

My mistake. I jumped to conclusion. I haven't been following the 2015 model progress.

Can you link? New factory spring rates or maybe even shock dynos of the MY15 suspension?

I have a set of the Sachs sitting in my garage (as well as a set of the Showas) Got them for a nice price from someone with 150Kms on his car who was putting on coils. Also a couple of sets of the JDM/AU Spec GT86 Springs :-)

havnt seen any shock dynos, but id be willing to bet the spring rates are the same, as all the people in japan who are retrofitting are using their old springs. theres been a few posts around the forums with pics and japanese press release. heres a japanese forum post of a guy retro fitting them.
