FR-S Stock Carpet Mats - anyone else's doing this?
I've had my FR-S for just over a month an I noticed my carpet on the driver's side where my left foot rests when not depressing the clutch pedal is starting to "fuzz". Not a big issue, just kind of surprised its not more durable.

Same issue here after a few weeks. I just put the rubber mat down on the driver side and will switch to the carpet mat if/when I ever sell the car.

I've already planned on replacing the carpet so eh.
Once the rainy season starts (and lasts for 10 months) I will get I will the rubberized floor mat on the drivers side. |

Yeah I did the new product request for weathertech also. Hopefully they'll release them before winter. Anyone heard if/when Scion or Subaru will release rubber mats for our cars?

The floormats in my other cars are much more durable. Even my 96 Lexus floormats are in better shape. |

There is a warning about only having one set of mats in there at a time. If you put the rubber ones in, you should remove the cloth ones. |
