UEL or EL Header tune?!?! dammit

So I ended up buying this Topspeed header because some dude was selling his car and it was a steal (yes i know its a cheap header blah blah, its holding me off till i have the money for a better)

SO everyone I'm assuming will say this is EL

BUT after contacting TopSpeed they say its UEL (i had read somewhere that someone else got the same answer so i contacted myself)
After asking why it is or some specs, i get no reply.

So if its UEL it barely is from what anyone can tell.

Should i Run a stage 2 UEL or EL tune? I've currently been running EL.

They say it's UEL for two reasons.

1) they don't know what the hell they are talking about

2) the factory header is slightly UEL and this is a catless copy and thus is slightly uel.

Hmm that's funny, I've asked them before online just to see what they respond with and they told me EL, even in person they said the same thing. When they sold that particular model on their eBay store it listed EL in the description.

All their other headers on their site are labeled EL or UEL.
Here is their response on my question.

And like I said, I asked for a reasoning, got no response.

Hey, I think I'm the one whose post you read about contacting them lol.

That was some time ago. I ended up getting the other style of header they have (with the accordion style joints), since they told me it was EL and I wanted EL. But I only had it installed for 2 days. It was complete junk to me. The O2 sensor wires didn't reach so I had the plugs unscrewed and just dangling. It didn't fit with the metal underpanel so I had to bend it to fit, it rattled against something like crazy, probably the underpanel.

Took it off, sold it, got an openflash header and was done with it. I would have got tomei headers but they were released after I got the openflash.

Did your header have good fitment?

I say that it is UEL, do to the fact that the back exhaust ports merge in front of where the front ports merge. It may not be like every other "true" UEL header out there, but if you got out the tape measure, I am sure you would find that they are not equal length.

Everything fit on there fine but yeah I think it might slightly be touching the under panel. Can hear a super light rattle at times but nothing bad. I'm planning to switch these out eventually so just holding over til then. Sti currently running the EL tune
