Paris Motor Show Thoughts...
I think its the Paris motor show in a couple of days.
With the monkey butt red concept ft 86 sitting in the champs elysees showroom what are peoples thoughts on what we will see at the motor show? Afterall it cant be in two places at once and I cant see them moving it so quickly after putting it in the champs elysees showroom, especially as it took over the spot from the FT HS. So I guess were left with: 1) They will show an identical copy 2) They will show the GS versions 3) They will show one in a different color 4) They will show a more production ready version Im not considering them not showing at all, mainly because I dont want that to happen, but I think if they have put it in one of their main showrooms then theyd want to build upon that and have it at the motor show too. |

Wishing it is option 4, but knows it will likely be option 5. Isn't the G's in Australia?

Unfortunately I'm voting option 5 as well. I think we may get something at LA in november or Detroit in january. Probably the subaru concept. The next Toyota FT-86 concept will probably be the production version at next years Tokyo show.

Next years Tokyo Auto show is not till Oct/Nov. A lil too late?
I'm dreaming that they will give us something for SEMA. |

@Matador: yes, it's a little late, but why don't they just make world debut starting in the US? like Detroit AutoShow?

Subaru has a history of showing their STi cars at the New York auto show which is the end of the auto show season. That would give us something to drool over all summer in anticipation of the production cars debut in the fall at the Tokyo show. Of course I'm hoping for something earlier than that to be shown at LA or Detroit but who knows. |
