We will get it too guys one day...maybe sooner than you think.

Scion is the last one to settle on the specs and options.

As I can see the price is for Belgium.
How expensive are other cars compared to the GT 86 (e.g. Hyundai Genesis) in your country?

But the 1180 kg curb weight are stunning - according to the brochure there are all liquids included...but what about the driver?
In Germany the curb weight is with fuel tank 90% full and 75 kg for the driver. How is it in Belgium?

And why there is so many equipment in the base model? Makes it heavy and expensive.
I hope in Germany there will be a more puristic base model. No one needs push start or dual A/C...

Your right 1180kg is 2601 pounds...that's the lightest we have seen so far. Why is the BRZ so much heavier when they are the same car?

I see your point... Nevertheless, no one needs it, but many want it!
And I'm one of them. I'm not planning to go for track days each week and it's going to be my daily driver. So for those that want it, it's great! And as we are in Europe, you can definitely be sure: Those not needing it won't have to take it as it's for sure going to be optional. Especially in Germany, every manufacturer gives a bunch of options to earn a lot of money...

Happy to read that it probably gonna have buttons ;-)

I agree with you. For people like you such options should definitely be available - as an option but not in the base model.
So everyone would be happy

top speed 230 km/h?
Can't believe a 200hp car with such a good cd and moderate sized frontal area can't hit 240km/h.

Thanks for the info!

In Germany it starts at 29.990 €.
So there is a good chance for us here to get it around 27.000 or 28.000 €

That's 142 mph...good enough for the states. There is probably a governor to limit top speed because of the tires....

If the Price will be under 30k it is good for me too, I live in Germany too.

The best for the top Speed is that in the brochure they write:

Topspeed 230km/h (Circuit)

Wtf??? Why circuit?

Tyres? I hope so because mathematically it should hit 150mph (240km/h).
Maybe a software limiter.
