I cant imagine either the steel or aluminium would be specced to deform, and if i recall correctly that so long as you keep within tolerances of your metal composition, you it will flex and never deform and fatigue. There is probably a limit eventually, but pretty sure so long as you stick to tolerance they last a long time.

Interesting though.

GT Sport, and other games do not compare. I'm not saying you have to like what they are doing, but games can only ever be an approximate how an engine responds - they miss so many details that may things properly convincing.

Kai said that his development team hasn't discussed the cars with anyone from BMW in four years. "We agreed on the packaging," Kai said at a Supra event in Madrid, "like where is the hip-point of the driver, what's the wheelbase, the width, where's the fuel tank, where's the A-pillar, this was around the middle of 2014. After that we completely separated our team. After that, no communication with each other."
Company people like to run their mouths.

I'm not sure that article supports your argument, but I'd like to hear your reason you think he's lying.

They still say in that article that they are using all of these BMW parts even though they haven't communicated since the baseline - the two cars certainly don't look alike, but you can tell the parts are BMW.

At 1:32:30 Matt straight up says the new 86 is quick, dope, etc. He said he would rather drive a new 86 over the s2000 any day of the week.

He also said he is getting a new BRZ to road test at the end of September.

Wonder whats the difference. To achieve 4mm vs 1.5mm lower is a big difference.

Quick prediction that iron vs aluminum steering knuckle will compete for "which oil" topic for most argumentative threads. :-)

Matt F. posted a photo of a Gen 2 BRZ parked at his LA shop on his Instagram yesterday, we should get his off track / street driving impressions any day or whenever journalist embargos lift.
Was surprised by his enthusiasm after the Monticello track day, fan of his podcast and Matt usually likes more power than you’d find in a Twin.
