hey all, i just noticed this question wasn't fully confirmed. Not sure if @Shutter just made a typo or not, but can someone check if #9 is needed or not? the instructions that came with the box arent really instructions. more like measurement and torque specs only. lol.

[edit] nevermind. i did some more digging around and looks like #9 isn't used :|

Guys
I'm considering a set of ST's I have a couple of questions.
How are these compared to stock suspension in stiffness, handling and noise?

What front camber plates are you guys running or is the best match?

Not looking to slam the car, more towards a fun canyon and street set up
Thanks
Jesse

little stiffer, handles better, noise is same? They use stock tophats so no clanks/grinds/binding like some co's.

Camber plates arent really needed, but hotchkis, raceseng or vorshlag work great.

If just canyon/street I'd stay just st's or st+camber bolts.

Anyone that has had these on for 2+ winters in a snowy region, care to share pics of how the coils\shocks look? I want to buy these like yesterday but in NJ we see a ton of snow lately, and a ton of salt.

Also wondering about this.

I have st coilovers that I need to pick up and also emailed ST suspensions about spraying it with rust proof and they said it doesnt void the warranty which is nice.

Anyone know what the "out of the box" drop height is on these coilovers?

on my car, it was close to 2" drop (compared to stock height) all around, with the coilovers straight out of the box.

okay and one more question. so i just got a fender rolled on all 4 corners today and had the shop maxed out the front and lowered the rear also (not sure by how much) and i thought the fender roll would solve the rubbing problem but im actually rubbing more now, im on 245/40/18 18x9.5 +34. what can i do to solve the rubbing problem, i actually like the height i am at right now. any suggestions? and i rub on all 4 when going up or down driveways and dips at an angle.. thanks in advance!

most important, where are you rubbing?

245/40/18 is a pretty tall tire, I ran that size myself for a while, but its taller than stock so its more prone to rub.

Only current option is dont go up and down driveways or hit bumps. lol

Once I know where you're rubbing(watch it...hehe) we can make more suggestions.
