Once a year we get to come together and celebrate our cars and their heritage. That day is August 6 or better known as 8/6Day! Last year we had over 86 car comes out to celebrate and hope to have that many or more again this year. There will be multiple meets throughout Norcal so check back here for all the info.

it's for real... 2 years ago we started it as a casual and fun way to observe that 8/6 should be and is a day for us to celebrate our cars the 86s (the AE86 guys have been doing it for years too). That first year we announced it with only 2 days notice and we got about 30 cars to come out, which is great for a casual week night meet. Last year we put the word out a little earlier, and found a decent spot to hold the meet, with lots of parking and several good restaurant choices in the area. We had over 86 cars join us last year for 86DAY.

This year, we'll be back at the same spot again. Even more restaurant choices have opened up at this location, so it will once again be a good spot for everyone to gather and just hang out. I'll borrow/quote what I said last year:

Food info: There are several restaurants right by the meeting spot: The Habit Burger, Blaze Pizza, The Kebab Shop, Boneheads, and Which Wich (sandwiches). Buffalo Wild Wings is also nearby. There are also a ton of other restaurants in a 3-block radius. Payment info is in the shirt thread. Goal is to have them on 86Day and dont see a real good reason why that wont happen
