I'm down for a drive after C&C. Is there a meet up before C&C or are we just meeting there?

I'll be enjoying the long weekend and then we have a Sac meet and I still need to get my rear coils put back on so prob won't make a drive til the end of this month. Stupid work doesn't let me do anything on the weekdays to have free weekends lol

well assuming we gather near or at the Blackhawk C&C... a few potential routes we could take.

1) Collier Canyon (really short, maybe combine with one of the others)
2) Mines Rd (feel like we've been doing this a lot lately)
3) Redwood Rd (further away)

let me know your thoughts...

It starts at 8 on Sunday.

Won't most of the good roads be pretty packed with cyclists by the time the Blackhawk C&C is over? Personally I'd be up for a pre-Blackhawk drive but I get up early anyways and don't care about having to park away from the actual C&C lot if we get there a little late so I'm probably alone in that regards.

Been a while, I might be down for a drive this weekend. If I wake up early enough heh.

it starts at 8 but typically we'd shoot to get there early, by 7:30 in order to get decent parking. You raise a good point about cyclists and such, generally the roads are clearest in the early morning. But I am feeling super lazy this weekend and @MisterSheep asked about a drive after C&C, so I'm throwing out those options. If anyone wants to lead or call an early morning pre-drive, please go for it!

The C&C show is near the Blackhawk Auto Museum. usually when we get there that lot is already full and we park near the movie theater entrance.
I won't be going to C&C this month but if you guys plan to park together I advise meeting up beforehand and rolling in together.

Ok be sure to check the other Blackhawk C&C meet thread for details.
Back to the drive topic... I'm going to schedule a Redwood drive for right after the C&C so those who want to join can make it.

Let's go for another cruise through the twisties! Join us after the Blackhawk Cars and Coffee for a group drive. We'll start from Castro Valley and take Redwood Rd up into the hills.

Note: the start location is I-Tea's parking lot but they won't be open yet. If you want a drink or snack before the drive, I'd advise stopping somewhere beforehand. Those who are up for it, we can get lunch afterwards.

Meet 10AM / rollout 10:30AM
i-Tea, 20666 Redwood Rd, Castro Valley, CA 94546, USA
