Yep, going to try and avoid if possible as I'm not a fan of the open ended lug look but I may end up having to go to it.

Ideally I want to have the new wheels/tires on with no spacers and then in the winter go back to stock wheels with spacers for "flushness" with both sets of wheels without having to change the studs.

Word of advice as well, if they are not hub centric and have a much wider bore, you will need skinny lug nuts. I found out the hard way that if you increase the bore, but keep the bolt pattern, the space has to be lost somewhere, and that space is lost in the bolt holes.

Some lugs have little caps so they look closed

I have the proper hub adapters and the "tuner style" lug nuts to fit as they do have a smaller bolt holes.

I'll look into open ended with caps but for now I'm holding out.

This is why I held off on wheels because there are just so many things you have to make sure you have correct between bolt pattern, offset, stud length, clearance w/ fenders, tire+wheel diameter vs OEM, brake clearance etc..... I'm sure there will still be something I forgot when I go to install them...

Have you tested them to see that they fit? I had tuner style lug nuts that didn't fit my forgestars.

Not yet, but I'm testing them tomorrow before I order the tires. I did think that far ahead

Yeah, I did not know my lug nuts didn't fit until the tires were mounted, I had gone out and bought a new jack and torque wrench, the car was jacked up with the stock wheel off and the new wheel on. I was pissed.

Well I am back from my trip, so here is a TL;DW (Too long; didn't write)

It was awesome I drove through Alberta and BC in Canada, Washington, Idaho, and Montana in the USA. Car is great on gas. My girlfriend is a princess lol. Northern Montana has some of the best twist roads with high speed limits. The I-90 in Washington (I think that's what it was) is the worst road I have ever driven on, it may have been a gravel road it would have been smoother.

Almost had a heart attack when Doug Demuro posted he was leaving Jalopnik. Though Im worried too much of a good thing on Oversteer will kill his brand.

He's kinda like a calmed down version of @MisterSheep and @go_a_way1

And because they get a nice quarter panel view whereas us FRS plebs get a side shot with tires that have a 3mm sidewall

Or just leave it in All and forget the banner is there. I had to go and look to figure out what the hell you guys were talking about.
