Back in the mid nineties, my brother worked at the Sears in Albuquerque. One day a middle aged woman stopped by his friend's register at the paint department. It's not nearly as funny typing it here but when his friend asked if he could help her with anything else, she looked at him thoughtfully and answered with one of those New England-ish accents, "I need some caulk."

My brother and his friend looked at each other desperately trying to not laugh, and, well... She stormed off. No sale.

ROFL. My wife's family is from Boston (ish). It's probably funnier when reading it because in my head it's her grandmother's voice...

Got a booster shot today… it’s not as bad as 2nd shot, but def not fun. Technically I have tomorrow off, but after meeting w AD’s I better go in & give manager & supervisors a bad news plus to train few staff to take over my projects. Cuz I only got this week in the current department (next week is new pay period). I was doing 3 full time staff projects plus 1/3 of supervisor projects AND 1/4 of manager’s projects. Def my department gonna go through hell without me for a very long time… but they’ll move on.
