Damn, that looks like something @Tcoat would hate. In other words, delicious AND healthy (ish) Yum!

Well I could rest assured if I tell the gas company to ever suck it. No heat- no problem. I'll just burn the 2lbs of 30% interest rate credit card offers I get in the mailbox every day.

@Tcoat has been to the Garret in Campbell. We picked up a bacon pizza one time he stayed with us in SJ. No veggies.

The Gilroy is one of those things that sounds strange, but really works. They use a white sauce, which is nothing more than their ranch dressing mixed with chopped garlic, then Mushrooms, pepperoni, and Italian sausage, with a mix of mozzarella and Jack cheeses. Then, when it comes out of the oven, it is topped with fresh tomato and green onion. My favorite pizza.

Where does armadillo fit in there. That turned out to be my line.

that fits solidly into the 'experimental' category.

i'm willing to try it, but wouldn't plan on it being the only thing i'm eating at that moment unless i'm at least 500 miles from civilization, stranded, and already exhausted more typical options.

not big on stew, so it'd likely need to be well-seasoned over an open fire.

Pretty much described the circumstances. Wasn't exactly 500 miles but let's just say options were limited on purpose. I caught it, gutted it, cooked it up, took one bite, gagged, and served it up to my grateful fellow "survivors." Someone else managed to catch a big fat snake of some sort. He was pretty tasty.

When my grandkids don't like something, I just remind them that it's only because they're not hungry enough.

Clearly, I wasn't.

Oh no! I love all kinds of leafy greens. You should see my burgers and sandwiches. Always stacked with some nice crunchy greens. Onions and tomatoes too, but LOTS of lettuce. The darker the better.
