Finally bought some new wheels thanks to the wheel directory. Went for Oz Ultraleggera 17x8 et48 in Matt Graphite Silver wrapped in Continental ContactSport 5's (tyres are great on the road but not great on track as they overheat too quickly). Could do with lowering, but not overly bothered by the look without.

Can you share more pics? Specs on the tires?

17x8 et48 - front on 5mm spacer, rear on 15. Lowered on RCE Yellows.

Tires 245/40-17 RE-71R

Absolutely love how the tires fit on the wheel, and the spacing.

Do you notice a big difference with handling with the wider tires? Does it fight you too much? Im trying to decide between a 235 vs 245 width.

I notice no difference other than more grip. I was worried the steering would be more numb but I can't say there's anything different over the stockers in terms of feel. Haven't autoX'd it yet though.

Tires are SUPER noisy on certain types of asphalt - like louder than studded winters. I don't mind because the car is well soundproofed but in an S2000 or Miata it would be crazy.

Digging this up from the past, looking at getting a set of these rims from somebody, 17x8 ET48. I want to run 245-40-17 tires on it as we do today with Enkei RFP1 17x8 ET45.

We do have -3 camber all around, using Raceseng camber plates up front and adjustable lower control arms in the back, stock suspension. Is there still a concern of the tire rubbing the suspension anywhere especially at the track with ET48?
