I am planning to upgrade to these for their turn signal and defroster, but I have not heard any reviews. Is the tinting blurry? Are they good or crap?
Those look pretty nice, however how difficult would it be to wire the turn signal portion?

I have these, had them since they came out, no problems whatsoever.

Signals look great, defroster works as expected, and the blue tint isn't blurry.

It was a bit of work to run the turn signal wiring, but I'd definitely recommend these to anyone.

Is there a DIY guide or a video that you followed for the turn signal wiring?

If you click on the "Installation Instructions" tab on their site it will show you the wiring diagrams.

You'll need either the Speedline from PhastekSport or the newer Rexpeed heated replacement, or you'll need to get crafty and install the element on the non-heated rexpeed. I have the Speedline, and they're excellent. No glare, and I added heated mirrors to my FR-S!

I mounted a set of yellow mirrors on my car by removing the old mirrors from their housing. I removed the mirrors with brackets attached from the car (they snap right out). To remove the OEM mirror from the bracket, I used a heat gun to soften the adhesive holding the mirror onto the bracket. Took out the OEM mirror, then reused the adhesive to install the new yellow ones (added LED turn signals underneath). Worked like a charm and has held well for months now. If you want more glue, then use 3m Windo-Weld (you can get it on Amazon).

How hard was it to remove the factory glass from its housing? I'm thinking of getting the yellow mirrors as well. I like your method better than just sticking the new mirrors over the old ones

With a heat gun, not hard at all. I used gentle heat continually moving the gun in circles until the adhesive softened and then the popped right out of the bracket. I have pics of the process someplace. Will look for them.

Which yellow mirrors did you use? The Prova mirrors seem unreasonably expensive given there are full replacements available for half the price. Also I don't want to see "PROVA" in my mirrors all the time. I'm stuck on yellow though and have been waiting for a cheaper alternative to come around but I haven't seen anything yet.

I currently have the Helix mirrors. Absolutely love them. Only thing that bothers me is that they aren't heated. May end up getting the heated Rexpeed mirrors if they ever go on sale.
