It wouldnt have to be a perfect replica. A rough tall and wide with a lip to go into a cutout. Vertical supports. I could just caulk it into place from behind. If I had the money for a printer, I would be selling them.

JUN claims the same part is sold for the R35. It happens to fit the front of an FRS also.

Keep in mind, where the hole is, that’s where front bumper support beam & foam thingy is. So if you want that to fit, gotta take off the foam & avoid/change the support beam.

Yea, I was thinking a JDL Bash Bar or one from... Street Faction. I would also use the bar for the splitter rods I need for the 2-piece Verus splitter in my basement.

If you're going to 3D print it and want it to last at all you'll need to print it in ABS, which adds a bit of complexity over PLA (enclosure, hotter temperatures). Most printers are definitely too small to make that in one piece, but if you made it in three pieces you could do it pretty easily.

I've seen even ABS warp or leech color when left out in the sun, but it's still miles better than PLA.

You might be able to get away with CF filled Nylon in FDM as well, which poses the same challenges as ABS (just on a much larger magnitude).

Ideally you'd want to get the drawings to someone who can print it in SLS GF Nylon or MJF Nylon. SLS Nylon is perfect for duct work like that.

ABS is not good with UV . Glycol based fluids will also eat it.

PLA is infinitely worse, if we're splitting hairs.

Yeah, I know. I didn't say it wasn't, I won't print anything that is even semi permanent out of PLA. Nylon is going to be the best for most applications, if you can print it. Depending what the part is for I have been going back and forth between PETG and ABS since that is all my printer can handle besides PLA. Most parts that are going to see a lot of sun, I won't bother even trying to 3d print.

If its painted inside and out, would that eliminate the UV issue?

Temporarily, but one warm day and some direct sunlight will still cause it to warp and distort.

I found this camber plate cover for Impreza, that preserves the look of stock struts, may somebody adapt it to the measures of 86?
