For sure. I'm in in Lancaster. We hit single digits and occasional snow in the winter. No problems yet. But if it gets bad, I can always drive the truck.

Better bust out them studded snow tires, no better yet, get chains! Make sure you stuff a couple sandbags in the trunk for extra traction, and pack a shovel for all that snow you will never see.

+1 on that. You spit in the road here in San Diego and all hell breaks loose

lol... there is no such thing as winter in socal.... snow is URBAN legend in california. all of the resorts here use fake snow... rain? its like winning the lotto. you have a higher chance of winning the lotto than getting rain here. also, you are crazy for moving here. people are fleeing Commiefornia. if you want snow and rain, move to Sweden or NZ....

True, but that would be a damn waste on some good r-compounds. I'd rather save a set of NT01s for the track.

That applies everywhere. People, on the whole, do not know how to drive.

Except perhaps Finland.

Agreed. The Fins are damn good at car control.

I've lived in Southern California for all my life, never used All Season tires unless it was on a truck that frequently sees Big Bear for the snowy season. If you're just driving around LA around town and maybe some more, no need, just get summer tires all around.

I thought this was a joke. Here in SD we run the same tires all year round. Pretty cool, huh?
