The Intake manifold is being designed as we speak, and will 100% be a group buy when it's confirmed and finished.

Most Exhaust manifolds will work as long as they don't put the turbo far away from the engine. I have a Powerhouse Racing on my car and this car has a knockoff.
+1 for that Intake Manifold, I am gonna do one of these swaps in my other FR-S chassis next year. Definitely waiting on that wiring solution if you guys can make it work, hopefully it will be VVTI compatible.

sure. the intake manifold is now in cad and the model is being cleaned up and tweaked for production. the wiring harness is built. the custom ecu firmware is being written. the ac line modifications are 3/4 done to retain ac. a drive by wire throttle body is tested and working with the oem gas pedal. this isn't a get it done in a month swap, we actually work on a ton of cars so this isn't a guy in a garage working on one car non stop.

You obviously have NO idea how much it takes to get this swap into the car. Let alone with standard functioning accessories (hydraulic PS, cable throttle, no A/C, etc) - they're trying to market something with OEM-esque functions.

If they get it wrong, people like you will bitch at them for not doing enough.

With a functioning 2jz, in good shape but maybe not "Built", are we atleast looking at sub 20k? Is it still too early to even guess?

If this is offered with everything you need for the swap, I'd expect it to be around the $20k mark.

For all those following the thread, thank you so much for appreciating how much we are putting into the swap. As @spitfire481 said, we have A LOT of things nearing completion, I am very excited about so many things that will all happen in the next month or so. We are working at the pace of others, not our own, if I were funding and building every piece it would have been done already, but in this industry you have to rely on other people and their timelines to make things happen.

Side note for all my 2J guys who are already piecing things together, check these out! IGN1A Coil Kits

I'd rather be chomping at the bit and wait a little longer, ensuring that this swap "kit" is exactly what you envisioned. I would advise others that have problems with their production timeline to either a)do it themselves and wish them well or b)move on to another swap that is arguably less complicated. You can't please everyone guys, but I get more and more excited about the prospects of this swap "kit" with every update. Thanks in advance for your time and attention to detail guys!!

They look excellent in their boxes. But has there been any progress before you call anyone a troll. I'm glad I'm not a paying customer. Any news on the swap????

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned or not, but does anyone know the weight difference this swap makes? I'm assuming that the iron block is much heavier than the FA20, despite the FA20 being relatively heavy for a 4 cylinder.

I guess we are into the holiday break now.

Will there be any news next year?

Or the year after?
