This info was taken from a uk forum by a guest, or I would have stated his name

"The Turbo FA20 engine uses a 14mm wide gear set, whereas our NA engines use 12mm wide gears. (The FA20 gears run directly in the front cover.)To use the Turbo gear set, you also need the turbo engines front cover, which has different Cam pulleys on the exhaust, so is not a straight swap item"

I don't think anyone has broken an oem one yet. Motor is already torn down and parts are being organized for sale. We have spent enough time rolling the dice and trying new things, time to make power with less mystery and headache. When it's all said and done after this winter we should have a high 8, low 9 second consistent car that I can drive on the street with no issues

Damn.... any future plans for the car now?

What a bummer. Are you staying with the same chassis just a different motorset (EJ, LS, 2JZ, etc)?

If you're parting ways with the wheels, I'd be interested to know. I'm in the market for some 15'' drag wheels.

we have so many 2J parts laying around it will probably be that. not sure if id part with them or not, they are a great street setup and wont be cheap since they are one off and fully forged

Fair enough. Hope you go the 2J route - especially since you guys know what you're doing and can probably put it together relatively quick. Good luck man, total bummer on the FA20 though.

It won't be done and ready until next spring. I have a pretty hefty parts list of what I want to hit my goals. Car will still be on motec m150 so all of the oem functions will work no problem
