That radio reminds me of those Winamp players back in the day.

I also think the AE86 guys are going to laugh at those of us who are new to the fold with our everything-but-the-kitchen-sink luxo packages. Secretly I yearn to be accepted.
Not necessary, but if you can afford it, then why not? Nobody is going laugh at other people who are getting BRZ limited. It's personal preference. You just enjoy what you have, and they( and I) enjoy what I have.

Part of me loves added features while part of me loves the less-is-more ethos. All of me loves people expressing their individual preferences, so I'm with you 100% there. :happy0180:

That other part tells you to convert Dual Climate, HID, Push Start and Spoiler into Cold air intake, exhaust and header and ECU tune.

I'd personally prefer the left side of that..but can't I have both?

Sure. I'm thinking about getting both too. Let's see the official pricing.

Yes it does! Plus I'd get to enjoy the simple acts of turning the key, adjusting the HVAC controls, switching on my own headlights! Remove those and what have you done? For me, nothing has been improved. It has simply removed some elements from my experience. In my mind the most enjoyable motoring experience is one that is involved and inspired. For example:

During my first few years of driving I learned a lot about the driver-and-car connection during late night runs in to the countryside. On crisp autumn evenings there is a perceptive drop in ambient temperature as you leave the city. This means I would reach down and add a bit more heat to the cabin. Feeling this shift in temperature showed me what the environment was like, which would determine how the car responded and how the tires felt. Every drive, even on my favorite loop, was always different and it's these details that I took into consideration when enjoying the experience. Having a car do it all just distances me from the details. You don't have to drive an Ariel Atom to want a bit of feedback. And I'm not saying push-button start ruins how a car drives, either. I'm just saying I want the FRS cheap without those extra doo-dads.

It's just hard for me to live without push start after owning IS250 for 4 years. We haven't seen what they have to offer in the states yet, we just have to wait to see what we really want the most.

Even if the FRS doesn't offer it, surely it will be an easy retrofit. You've got nothing to worry about.

I agree but the AC controls look like they are from a 90's taurus. If this car had the toyota guages then i would be in love.
