Post 2017-2018 Manual Transmission in a 2013?

I bought a manual transmission from a wrecked 2017 or 2018 brz. Will it work fine with my 2013? I'm worried the ECU will throw a fit.

I'm wondering why you even changing it in the first place lol. I have never heard of that before.

If its a manual now it will be fine, If your automatic it will need reprogramed.
Not completely sure about what needs done wiring wise, someone else should chime in.

I hope nothing wiring wise, ha. It's a manual tranny going in a manual car.

Transmission has two switches that are off/on
Neutral switch and a reverse switch.
It should plug right up.
