One and a half years sometime this month. I didn't keep exact track of when I stopped. Right near the end of 2021. Wish I stopped before I destroyed my relationship by being a psycho **** while drinking. So it goes.
The crazy thing is how much better I think. Sober as a drunk is not the same baseline you think it is when you're a drunk. |

Yeah it's cool. I try not to be that annoying recovering alcoholic but it's nice to have an accomplishment to brag about.

Anyone else remember how in elementary school there was that kid who'd just like walk over to your friend group. And stand there just like making random noises or bad jokes to act cool when they had nothing useful to contribute?
