19 years today !
My Sponsor called and we reminisced about the "Bad Old Days" when we used to drink together. Sitting in a Strip Bar, swilling at will and complaining about how unfair the world was .... He with steel pins in his leg after driving a snow machine into a dock frozen into the lake.... And me with a dislocated shoulder, stitches, cuts and bruises after rolling my truck off a logging road. God I don't miss those days !!!

Thursday/Friday took a my 23 year old daughter on a 1200 KM "Magical Mystery Tour" (I didn't tell her our route or overnight destination) through the the mountains of B.C.
She's loading the music, I'm carving corners on some beautiful, lightly patrolled secondary highways, including 2 ferry trips across Upper Arrow Lake. Staying in a funky hotel in Nakusp, overlooking the lake, built in 1893 If I wasn't sober, I surely wouldn't have that relationship with her....nor the inkling to get off the bar stool and take the trip ! Note: 400 KMs of the best roads were run on 98 octane blend with a special tune by Zach. Awesome !
