I want to revive this to see how people are faring! My car was about 2k miles on 330whp (17psi turbo) before s timing chain guide let go. Completely unrelated to the turbo, my car has a history. Considering rebuilding or buying another used stock engine

I’m over 80k boosted miles, with over 82k total. I just finished an E85 tune so I’m on it now, but haven’t dynoed it yet to see how much power it’s putting down.

I'm sitting at around 10,000 miles with a Sprintex 210 SPS + flexfuel kit.
I look after my car really well - and so far no problems!

10k miles so far. I don't get on it every day but I do some hard pulls and speed up on the highway sometimes.

I am around 35K miles (52K total) now with JRSC. I had to replace the valve springs which might be related to FI (or not). JRSC kit and everything else are working fine so far with factory tune without any other major trouble.

Glad to hear some people put quite a lot of mileage on their FI setup!

Maybe more than mechanical reliability, I am also glad I didn't do anything crazy to total the car. These cars are seriously fast with the FI power.

Do you mind sending me a PM regarding your JRSC kit and the supporting mods and tune you used? I'm highly interested in this kit down the road (I just bought a 2020 TS). You obviously did it right with that kind of mileage. Thanks for your time.

- 2017+ improved header (with stock cat) and HKS dual resonator front pipe (catless) to increase exhaust flow and decrease exhaust back pressure. Since you have a 2020 model, you already have the improved header if it is manual transmission. - Jackson Racing dual radiator and oil cooler (I used STI OEM oil cooler before this) I use Jackson Racing factory tune. That is all. |

I chose c30 kit since I wasn't planning to increase the boost. I have been using the base tune JR provided which is CARB certified. No additional modifications were done on the tune. It is a very good tune.
