I saw that steve99 included some modifications to the Exhaust VVT CAM tables for Nameless long tube catless headers. I'm looking to pick one up, would these values work on the latest 4.03 tunes?

see OFT TIPS link below for parameters.

Auto Blip on down shift is not implemented on OFT roms would require additional rom program code.
What's involved in adding auto blip and switchable maps to OFT?

Some oft maps and stock maps dont have fhe software patch for lc\ffs

sometimes its possible to find a compatavle file that hasxthe patch and transfer all the tune tables across but its a fair bit of work

I don't know if that's where I would start.. Wrapping up this MAF scaling project has started me off down this path.. and I think more experienced would agree that's a good place to start. Even on stock air box I think it's been shown that most OEM gt86s can find improvement there, you don't have to been installing a new air take. It smooths out acceleration, efficiency, maybe just me but it makes it feel more alive.. I don't have idle dipping as much if ever that I notice, before if I came to a stop always idle dipping and saw that on two different maf scales that one was moderately rich and one that was a tad lean.. but when it gets dialed in I don't see it. So if you are just trying to start that's a good place I think

ooh and reading all those links at the bottom of Steves sig.. also a good place

Just picked up an oft for my 2020 GT. I noticed on the first post it indicates the last letter of the calibration code is the rom type, with C = Canada/USA and G = Europe/Australia, etc.

I'm in Canada but my calibration code is ZA1JV00C00G. Shouldn't my code be ZA1JV00C00C?

Good catch, i noticed this new calibration code has the extra 3 digits in them i guess they just combined both the C and the G's into 1 after the change

Dunno, euro tunes have their own tunes still, latest one euro is S20G

maybe they merged something though, now euro tunes too have the forced closed loop even at full throttle, so now every new tune in the world is more similar to each other than ever

Exclamation OFT: "file selected is not compliant" Error

Hey Guys,
I'm stuck trying to upload a tune to the new OFT I just bought, direct from OFT. I've read my ECU, and uploaded a copy of the stock ROM to the OFT tune request form. I was under the impression, from pre-purchase questions, that the tune for my 2020 Hakone was GTG, but my CALID ZA1JV00C00G yields no results when I search the help page as directed. I downloaded the 2017 Stage 1 US MT tune available on the site, but get the error above when I try to upload the tune to the OFT. I shut down Windows Defender as directed when I DLed/installed OFT manager, and it seemed to update fine. I also installed this patch from the OFT help page (vcredist_x86...), then re-started OFT manager, as instructed. I am not using USB 3.0. Help page next step is to uninstall/re-install OFT manager? I have limited tune experience, but have used FTECU to tune my '16 Yamaha R1. That process required some wiring work on the ECU connector, but was still done in under an hour. I've spent at least 2 hours attempting to flash with OFT, and it's frustrating...do I have to wait until they send me a file matched to my CALID?

I let Shiv know I had a new '20 in a message 3 weeks ago. I'm surprised he didn't mention there was no tune for it yet. The '20s have been out nearly a year...surely I'm not the 1st owner to request a file. I suppose it's possible they changed ECUs mid year. Hopefully they won't take too long with it. Anyone care to venture a guess? In any case, I'm only planning to use Stage 1 until my catless UEL comes in. Should I go ahead and open another ticket for a Stage 2 + file? My parts are supposed to be in by the end of the month.
