My '06 STi had an inside grab handle from the factory. I got used to using it quite quickly. Never injured myself once in 13 years of ownership.

Geeez how often do you people close your trunk? I was in and out of mine 4 times a day for 5 years. Either pushed on the spoiler or plate but had zero scratches in the paint and did not wear out the rubber pads.
The parts are not made out of sugar!

Sure. They will only last 35 years instead of 40. I'm sure the pads will still be there when the car is long dead.

See. that's exactly what my issue is. They should last at least 80 years!

Finally installed my Crawford Performance Power Blocks.

I'm fully expecting at least 100+hp gains with these.

Pretty well hidden unless you really search for them. No issues with the strut tower brace.

You've got the goddamn "red" version, it is worth more BHP than what you're expecting. Take it easy until you get used to the POWER! Keep it clean and it'll keep giving.

I bet he backflips his car first day and blames the curse.

Edit: What Wally said!
I installed one (paid a little less for it) and I'm glad I did. It's not like our trunk lid weighs 80 lbs or comes down with any appreciable force...unless you're trying to break the sound barrier when you push/pull on it. I'm able to pull on the handle and have my hand well clear of the lid before it closes, no ninja speed required. Once it's moving it pretty much free falls closed. I can appreciate not having to touch the outside of the car lid, especially around here in the wintertime when my car tends to be perpetually dirty and/or salt covered no matter how often I clean it.

Installed it on the right side of the lid for weight balancing purposes since I'm usually driving solo. Every little bit helps.

Finally installed my fog light kit last weekend. Everything dropped in very well, I really can't be disappointed with it at all for an inexpensive aftermarket kit, and can't knock getting an OEM switch with it as part of the kit. It gave me a good reason to go get an OEM switch bezel for a fog light equipped car from eBay.

I tossed the crappy bulbs that came with them and put in some OLM brand LEDs that color matched perfectly with the parking lights. I was going to tolerate having the OEM low beams in place for now, but my buddy who helped me do the install happened to have the right size LED bulbs to drop into the low beam sockets collecting dust in his garage, so now everything matches up very well and it looks like a 21st century car. The low beam bulbs are not exactly the same white color as the four lower lights, but it's close and looks way better than the OEM low beams did (not that the supplied pics show that well, has to be seen with the naked eye). Definitely happy with the results.

Pics are of the finished job and a sort of before and after for the low beam swap. My apologies for the terrible quality. My phone's main camera is dying a slow and terrible death, so I did what I could taking pics with the front facing camera.

It's that time of year...
I ordered a fresh set of winter tires. Went with continental VikingContact7's. Said to be better than the pirellis I had on previously which I find hard to believe.

Sea-foam'ed and oil changed. After Sea Foam, engine is running and idling so much smoother. Highly recommended if the engine is over 50K
