So, I won't be buying a Civic from you?

Good idea about a backup camera, my Kenwood head unit is set up for a camera. But, but, what if the camera is of the type that "objects are closer than they appear"? Then I'm still screwed.

Maybe I need one of those proximity sensor things that slaps me up side the head if I get too close to something -

Maybe I'll give that "heat and pull" method a try.

Thanks for your input.

I only sell to chumps. Maximum profits.
I can't pull that off with anyone that knows a bit about cars.

Ever thought about 'reversion therapy'? Second thoughts, better not, just come to terms with the fact that your car now hates you for reshaping its bum!!

Then again, 'reversion therapy' could have saved a whole load of bum pain...

That may be a bit extreme. What he really needs is reversing theory.

Easy fix to pop it out by hand. Had little trouble doing it when somebody backed into me.

I put a sticker over the paint cracks.

One more for hot water, Best if the bumper is off and the hot water is applied from the back. A pool of water inside helps heat evenly. Heat helps the paint recover better, if already cracked ignore it, too low to bend over and see.

Well, I swung by Bubba's shop and he said "no problem", he went back into his shop and came out with a BFH, a gallon can of Bondo and a rattle can of white paint. I told him that I wanted a second opinion and left.

I then went to a local body shop. I nice helpful fellow there suggested that I try the hot water and plunger technique. If that didn't turn out OK, he could replace the bumper and paint it for about $1,000.

So, tomorrow, I'm going to put a kettle of water on the stove, get my plunger and give it a go. -

(why don't I just learn how to back up - )
