Easy fix to pop it out by hand. Had little trouble doing it when somebody backed into me.
I put a sticker over the paint cracks. |

One more for hot water, Best if the bumper is off and the hot water is applied from the back. A pool of water inside helps heat evenly. Heat helps the paint recover better, if already cracked ignore it, too low to bend over and see.

Well, I swung by Bubba's shop and he said "no problem", he went back into his shop and came out with a BFH, a gallon can of Bondo and a rattle can of white paint. I told him that I wanted a second opinion and left.
I then went to a local body shop. I nice helpful fellow there suggested that I try the hot water and plunger technique. If that didn't turn out OK, he could replace the bumper and paint it for about $1,000. So, tomorrow, I'm going to put a kettle of water on the stove, get my plunger and give it a go. - (why don't I just learn how to back up - ) humfrz |
