My antenna reception has been fine. I made sure to back the insert screw out as much as possible then put a tiny drop of locktight in it to hold the screw in the antenna.
As far as the wax there was built up wax in the lettering on the badges. Around the antenna base. Along the window/door sills (black parts). It was also built up around the edges of the clear vinyl near he kick panels and around the black trim on the bumper. -B |

Today I added red footwell lighting, the OEM subaru kit was 130$. so With some extra wire I had, solder, heat shrink and 2 8" strips of red leds, I now have a <20$ kit. I wired it to the Clock illumination wires, (purple = positive, black = ground). They do not dim though.

I installed STi-r clear lenses on the OEM projectors, new bulbs are on the way to replace the 4 year old faded d4s bulbs.
Doing this mod replaces the oem projector lenses which cause the cutoff to be foggy/blurry. This makes for a more crisp / blue cutoff. Because I am a retrofitter it only makes sense to do this! It also adds a bit more intensity in the center. I then installed an OEM front license plate bracket to give the local police 1 less reason to pull me over. I also installed genuine Subaru "STi" valve caps because it had none when I got it. -B |

I traded some headlight work for a set of wheels for the car. They arent my first choice of wheel but they are pretty nice looking.

I pulled in a few side jobs over the last week and got smoked side markers and 42% tint all around. (35% or higher is legal in CT)

I did a few things over the last 2 weeks. I painted the calipers a gloss black using a POR-15 paint. I put the RPF1s on after scrubbing them down and then waxing them. And I installed the Baja Designs Squadron Sport Fog lights w/ rally innovation brackets. They were FAR from a perfect fit, but after lots of trimming I am very happy with the result. I also created home made center caps for the rpf1s using 85 cent knock-out seal's from home depot, and some left over silver vinyl I had laying around. Not bad for under 4$ worth of materials.
