My FR-S with C-38 was tuned on the same dyno by the same tuner 4 weeks ago

Right over the oil fill cap. Out of the frying pan and into the fire haha. I'm sure you'll make it work. That area is so cramped, there just isn't a good solution.

Your leaking issue was at the bottom though, right. Because I'm dealing with the same issue. Changed fittings already but still leaked. Now they send me new hoses, I just don't have enough time to work on it right. The SC and cooler are just too high maintenance for me. I just can seem to set it and forget it.

It was leaking at the bottom of the spacer, at the fittings for the oil lines, the oil lines blew off and blew oil all over the engine bay, down the side of the car and underneath the car, and it leaked at the fittings on the cooler itself. I took it off and decided to go my own route. Both SC and oil cooler are high maintenance systems in my experience

Hey guys. A reputable Garage here in alberta recommends the Kraftwerks Super charger for my FR-S. I have a few questions.

I want this car as my daily and I don't really want a ton of boost 30-40lb of torque across the power band. would be my goal.

Can this system be winter driven?
How does it work on low compression with 91?

Thanks in advance.

Drove mine in the winter when the snow wasn't out, no issues.

Not sure what you're asking about how it works on low compression with 91. It does work on 91 octane, their CARB tune should work for you. If you're doing low compression pistons and 91 octane then I don't know because I haven't seen anyone do that yet.

I recently sold my 71 firebird so I could go FI on the frs. And have bounced all over the map on how I want to do it.

Originally I wanted the c38 kit but now I am leaning towards just the c30 because it's available for 4.45k with ecutek/canned tune from rickspecd.com. so I thought about taking the cash savings over the c38 to upgrade my exhaust completely from header back with a 2.5 in system (no idea on brand or combination but needs to be semi quiet).

I don't really want to stick with the canned tune and I Wil be doing the install myself so I am contemplating the flash n go or driving it on the canned tune to dynosty two hours away and having them tune it (i just don't like the idea of having to drive/haul two hours for issues). My goals are reliability and somewhere north of 250 or 270hp (reason why I'm not going with the c38).

Anyone have any ideas on tune or how I should go about it
