Ok I put the 75mm pulley on and while i was there I noticed something I forgot to do during install. I'm not even gonna tell, it's really stupid and I bet it had something to do with the lack of performance.

Gonna look into switching maps too

Never!!!

Ok feels a little better with 75mm pulley. I bet with e85, header, intercooler, and 69mm pulley it'll feel how I want it to. Maybe cai and full exhaust too

How do I know which map is which? Maybe info is on the CD that came with the tune

Can you set it to default like in that video?

For "standard" should the needle be at 2k rpm?

We all make mistakes, if you post up what your mistake was you could help others with future installs.

I had the same disappointed feeling about this kit right after install. The game changer for me was e85 and 70mm pulley. I have stock header and non intercooler and it makes 253whp with no heat soak issues so far. The best I could muster on 93 was around 220whp. The available power with e-85 is immediate though, it's a whole new animal.

Lol since you're going to play that card I will say this to future DIYers: follow every step. What I forgot was in the instructions.

After driving it to work today I feel a lot better about it. I'm wondering now if it wasn't the pulley causing any issue but the uh.. other mistake I made. Maybe I'll put the 69mm back on. E85 is gonna be my next step, just debating if i should get the Visconti flex kit or wait for Bill to release his.

Non-intercooled and you did feel a difference between the pulleys?

A little, but only after re-tuning. "Stock" pulley made 214 and 70mm made about 225. It is important to note that those numbers are on 93 octane. I don't have numbers for e85 on the stock pulley but on the 70mm ethanol was a very noticable difference. This is all on oem exhaust with an hks drop in filter.

I'd say without tuning, just throwing on the smaller pulley will produce a negligible difference. I think my second gear tire squeals were a touch longer but it didn't blow me away
