DFW Spring cruise 2015 planning route! Open to suggestions!

I know it's a bit early to start planning but... I found a great site to look for roads around dallas and fort worth.

http://www.motowhere.com/listpaths/c...254/region/165

Just use the search bar and search away!

EDIT:
9/5/14
https://mapsengine.google.com/map/ed...A.kUlsOfmZe3_M

a colab of dustins modified map and my map

you can request to see it and ill approve, might be going next sunday 9/14/14 to scout the rout for potholes, construction, ect

let me know if you want to go
EDIT: 9/13
so far this is the list of people going
@carbonBLUE @Shneegle @hahaman86
@spyingwind @lopro25

anyone else is welcome to join, we will be meeting at the Ol' South Pancake House 1509 S University Dr Fort Worth, TX 76107 at 10:00 am and will leave after a small breakfast. Let us know on this thread if you are running late.

Also If you still have your radios from twisted sisters, BRING EM! I should have a spare if anyone doesn't have one handy

Weather

81ºF

Also It might rain a little but looks like great temps for trying this out as the spring cruise we might see rain and close to the same temperatures! Seems like the perfect weekend for us to try it out.

Ill have pieces of paper with all the roads on them.

Also phone signal might be in and out for some of yall as we will be out in the boondocks. Download Maps.ME or MapFactor Navigator. These apps use your gps and maps from your phone's memory so if you are stuck in an area without internet and google maps isn't working for ya. These apps will.

The purpose of the scouting run is to check the quality of roads and to find stopping points for our spring cruise in 2015.

I will be at a brisk pace but probably no more than that. If someone else chooses to lead our small group at a quicker pace or if you want to go faster than I want to, be my guest.

Do take in consideration that it might be damp or raining that day, of other people on the road, of the small and very large animals we might see, ect ect. This is not a track for us to go balls out on but just as a fun run on some back twisty roads. BE SAFE AND DRIVE SMART!

EDIT
I will be using
Track Navigator app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...tracknav&hl=en

with this file for the trip

http://ridewithgps.com/routes/598038...b_format=track

That route is in my neck of the woods. I just went over the most of it and it definitely needs some refinement. It's missing out on some good roads and has us going on some not so good ones. Also, while it has some that "look good" on the map, they're not what they may seem to be in person. For instance, the roads going around Weatherford Lake are fun, but very narrow and there are a lot of houses so you have to ramp down the speed on them. Also last time I went down them a few weeks ago, they were doing some road work. Now hopefully in 6 months time it will be done, but it still is a narrow street. The route will definitely need to be driven once or twice to determine the best way to go about it.

how crazy we get? i think twisted sisters was about as crazy as we have gotten so far lol

the dallas group finished about 10 minutes faster than everyone else and we took 2-3 extra breaks other groups didn't take. If that is good reference.

I think next Tuesday I'll go for a good drive. I've already made some changes where I know it needs it but I'll have a better idea of the whole route after giving it a good run. So far it looks to be about a 4 hour drive.

Too many points to make 1 map so I had to make 2. Starting at Ol' South Pancake House and ending at Freebirds.
