GSC FA20 Valve Spring Kits

Hey guys! Just got word from GSC Power-Division that they have released their beehive springs and titanium retainers for the FA20. This is pretty exciting as we have had great success with these on other platforms that we have built. Kit is going to use chromoly spring seats to locate an ovate wire beehive spring and titanium retainers. They will also be releasing their bronze valve guides as well that they can be paired to.

Kit will be sold in a set of 16 with springs, spring seats, and titanium retainers.
88 LBS @ Seat/ 211 LBS @ .400" lift

Single spring kit will also be available with titanium retainers
93 LBS @ 1.300"/ 175 LBS @ .400" lift

This post is for information only, so please PM me for pricing

what is to be expected of this upgrade? (hp gain, reliability, better response?) i'm trying to understand the + value of valve spring! and what will give the difference between those 2 sets?

With stronger valve springs, you can increase the red-line. Higher RPM = moar powah.

One of the benefits, and from my limited knowledge, the only answer I have regarding valve springs and power gains.

Stiffer springs will allow you to run a higher redline safely and help prevent valve float at the higher RPM's. The beehive's are good for 9500rpm and 30psi of boost, the single springs are good for 8200 rpm and 20psi of boost.

More power in combination with other mods. If you look at the power curve of the stock engine peak power is well below stock redline.
