Recommended Toe Alignment Settings

When getting my car aligned (weekend driver / occational track toy), the shop recommended a hint of toe both front and rear given my type of driving.

my Toe after alignment was ~ +.1 both front and rear.

Just curious what folks run as far as toe given there is so much discussion of camber settings.

I put as much negative camber as I could get on the fronts with just camber bolts.
Mine ended up at:
-1.0 in the front on each side. Zero toe
-2.5 in the rear and .15 toe in

it all depends on how often you run on track + the wheels-tires you run....another HUGE factor is how long you want the tires to last off track?

I found the factory settings "okay" running a pure stock car.....the brakes are MUCH worse than the handling in stock form

Tire pressure and alignment settings will help you tailor the handling feel more to your liking and typically increase tire life on track....for example I run max camber all around on my racer (above 3') with a touch of toe in out back and a touch of toe out up front....I like my cars to be a bit loose, which I define as always being able to tighten up the car mid corner if I need too...I hate understeer-push cars...since once you hit that limit mid corner its quite difficult to correct from a drivers point of view...all you can do is slow down until grip comes back

Static friction > kinetic friction. Reduce input, and slowly increase to regain traction and then get to a higher turning speed.

Doesn't it depend on application? My understanding is that Autocross guys run some toe out in the front and toe-in in the rear. From the looks of his signature he's more of a track guy, but it would be unfortunate for autocross guys to come across this thread and not realize it isn't really absolute.

Unless you have a dedicated autox setup, you don't want an autox alignment... and I'm 99% sure the guys with dedicated autox equipment will already know how they want their cars aligned. Anyone asking will generally be best off with 0 all around for this platform.

we will be running the same set up for this year. 225 w/ the 1/16 total toe in worked great, but with the 245 set up this year we are looking for a bit more of rotation.

honestly. i would leave everything "as is" and see what kind of settings you need to implement to best suit your driving style.

we can recommend anything to you, but that might work for our set up and not necessarily yours
