The interface is designed to go back to 1950s, but the oldest race i could see was from early 90s and full seasons are avail from early 2000s. I hope they remaster some old races and make them available in the future

Dude was ridiculously lucky... another inch and his wing would have been too damaged to continue.

Grosjean though, wtf? Watching the replay, it looked like he basically saved it, but then suddenly dumps the throttle before the car settled down. I guess he was desperate not to lose position? His explanation afterward didn't make much sense

Grosjean did what many of us do on racing games when you keep the throttle pinned down because you're pissed off, and press the restart button. Only it cost 2 other people their race as well. Needs another race ban.

Yeah that was pretty damn stupid. I think if he would have just locked up the car would have slide to the outside.

It's still only FP2 and guess which two cars make contact? Verstappen and Grosjean... guess neither one could wait for the race :p

I definitely will and will post some up when I get back!

I have been excited since we bought tickets in December. My dad and I used to watch the champ car races here in Vancouver all the time until the series folded. It was always a dream to go watch F1 and what better way than with the guy who got me into cars.

I'm hoping Ricciardo's success from Monaco continues... no engine problems this time though please.

Well Silverstone had some excitement in it, didn't it? Several crashes, just glad there were no injuries.

I'm not sure a 10 second penalty was really adequate for Kimi Raikkonen causing a collision. Thoughts?

I think the penalty was appropriate. It had the intended affect which was to cost him as much or more time than it cost Hamilton. Also got points on the license I think.

Agree it was a good race. More action up front than most other F1 races right to the end.

Kimi overcooked his entry, locked up and understeered right into Lewis. It was borderline reckless. I'm no Hamilton fan, but I would've been pretty mad if I were him in that situation.

It just seemed like the 10 sec penalty wasn't enough for that infraction, but what do I know.

Anyway, I loved seeing the cars whip around that track. Some of the camera angles were fantastic and really conveyed a great sense of speed. I also enjoyed watching the safety car giving it all it's got, that driver was definitely NOT taking it easy!

One might argue that racing by is borderline reckless by nature...
